Last week i decided to purchase Uncharted 2 for my playstation. The game absolutely stuns me visually. The inclusion of the Havok physics engine, and all around use of color and lighting effects makes it, graphically, one of the best games I've ever seen.

The story's pace is pretty spot on for being an action/puzzler, and re-introduces the characters enough to where you don't feel like you are missing anything by not playing the first (even though I did). The whole find an artifact, realize someone else is after it too, stop them from getting artifact story was a little too similar to the first but the inclusion of some new great actors and characters made it engaging.

I was most pleased with the changes in gameplay, Uncharted 2 has included a MUCH improved melee combat system, which makes you feel as if you are landing blows and actually countering your opponent's moves. And the inclusion of stealth is a very welcome change, as it adds another flavor to the game, keeping the run/gun/cover dynamic from getting too tedious.

Overall Uncharted 2 is a must play for my friends with playstations, I have yet to play online, so if you get the game at least we'll be on the same level.

Also in the games department, i preordered Torchlight and Borderlands. now i just have to wait throughout the weekend to play them :(
